David M. Edwards
David M. Edwards is a man driven. Driven by a passion to see people enter into the presence of God. Driven to see (and be a part of) a new generation of seekers - seekers after the face of God, and not just the "hands" of God. David has had a lifetime full of experiences—shaping him into the teacher/writer/pastor/worshipper that he is today. His music and teaching ministry takes him to places as far away as France, Germany, Switzerland, Romania, Ecuador and the United Kingdom—as well as all over America. Tens of thousands have experienced the power and presence of Jesus as David has led them into a fresh encounter with The Holy Living God.
With a degree in Theology, it is no wonder that Broadman & Holman tapped Edwards to be the General Editor of the new, HCSB Personal Worship Bible, with devotional notes to encourage the reader to expand their understanding of worship. “So many people think worship is simply church music – music is nothing more than a vehicle that the Holy Spirit uses to help us encounter God. Worship is more about the sum total of our lives being lived out to God's glory. Worship should be a daily thing that encompasses every aspect of our lives,” David notes. Known for his voluminous writings on worship (not music) Edwards' Worship 365 Encounters are geared toward the every day person to help them understand why daily being in God's Word and setting aside a personal time with the Lord is so important to our spiritual development and maintenance. This 3 hour teaching seminar has changed the lives of thousands and was the genesis for his critically acclaimed book in 2006, Worship 365: The Power of a Worshiping Life (Broadman & Holman).
His other books include: Faithfully Yours: Psalms Series – Create In Me, Enter His Gates, & As High As The Heavens (3 books on the Psalms with worship CD's included) and Through The Seasons With God: Season of Provision (Harvest), Season of Promise (Advent), Season of Passion (Easter) & Season of Power (Pentecost). In 2006 David became an official spokesman for the Bible League, which is one of the world's largest evangelical, non-denominational Scripture placement agencies providing Bibles and Bible studies to more than 50 countries, training and equipping Christians to use the Bible to make disciples and establish new churches to bring people into fellowship with Christ and His church. Also in 2006 David was appointed Managing Editor of Worship Leader Magazine's, The Worshiper read by over a half-million people each year.
What people are saying:
Dear David,
Thank you so much for the Worship Leader training you did today. The timing of the content and your comments were a real God thing! Thank you. It was also cool to get to hear you speak and to hear your passion and wisdom regarding worship ministry. It will be great to go back now and re-read your devotions in my HCS Personal Worship Bible and hear your voice and your heart over again in fresh way.
Just as an FYI, I was the one who asked about how we evaluate whether we are engaging the people, so I'm thrilled that you have offered a written resource that you can email to answer my question. This is my email to follow up to request that document. Thank you for offering it and sending it my way.
I also appreciated your prayers and that you blessed us as you prayed.
Know that you'll be prayed for as well, that God will continue to bless you with favor as well and that you would be filled to overflowing with the wisdom, love and presence of the Lord. (Eph. 3:14-21)
Thanks again for the article, for the teaching today and for your ongoing ministry. I look forward to times in the future of learning and receiving from the gift God has placed in you as you minister to the Lord and His Body.

David,
Thank you for coming and understanding what this week is about--renewal and
refreshment. As we briefly talked, so many of the leaders that come are
hurting, sometimes just about ready to give up.
So I appreciate how you sensed that, and spent time praying with and
encouraging those in your class. I'm sure that's why your numbers kept
increasing--and the fact that you are such a gifted worship leader, teacher
and ministry leader.
Blessings on your ministry,
