Lonna Vopat
Humorist, talk show host, and writer

Lonna Vopat has a passion to see women encouraged to find their identity in Jesus Christ and empowered to live the authentic Christian life. As an internationally known Christian communicator, she is recognized for her transparent approach to life, finding humor in every circumstance, and sharing the scripture with boldness and joy.

As a contestant in the nationally televised, 2002 Mrs. America pageant, Lonna had a front row seat to watch the lengths in which women went to strive for identity, acceptance and physical perfection. Using humor, props and her pageant experiences, she entertains and encourages women to grasp onto their awaiting identity as daughters of the King of kings. Lonna shares her personal story of neglect, abandonment and abuse in childhood; as a young adult she reveals the ravages of addiction and worldly life choices. Her life story is a living testimony of God’s ability to restore and redeem.

Lonna has had the privilege of encouraging others in many different speaking venues, reaching thousands of people with the life changing message of hope. From Mexico to West Africa, India to South America and throughout the United States, Lonna has continued to communicate her passion for God’s Word. Lonna is the host of the television talk show Between Friends, a writer and a respected keynote speaker. She has been featured on CBN’s The 700 Club, internationally for Campus Crusade for Christ, Extreme Nazarene Ministries, Operation Mobilization, and as a frequent guest on Moody Radio.
