Myrrh
Myrrh features the contemporary style and vocal harmony of Bill, Jeanine, Brienne and Heather Murk. Combined, the group members have ten albums to their credit, many of which have received extensive airplay on radio stations around the country.
As well as being an accomplished singer, Bill Murk is one of the premier Christian violinists today. He is a featured soloist at praise gatherings, churches, conferences, conventions, and crusades. Whether ministering for 50,000 men at Promise Keepers, fiddlin' at the Grand Ole Opry, leading worship with Don Moen, or accompanying such artists as Bruce Carroll, Amy Grant, Cynthia Clawson, Larry Dalton, Buddy Greene, Greg Buchanan, The Cathedrals, or The Gaither Vocal Band, Bill's desire is to lift people to a higher place of fellowship with the Lord.
Jeanine Murk is a gifted vocalist and insightful speaker who communicates a contagious joy. Her "victim to victor" testimony encourages listeners to conquer their difficult circumstances through a deeper intimacy with God. Wounded hearts are healed, faith is fortified, and the body of Christ experiences renewed hope.
Brienne and Heather Murk captivate audiences of all ages with their unique style and heartfelt sharing. Both are seventh generation of people in full-time ministry and feel a definite calling to continue the tradition. Brienne has recently completed her first book, while Heather writes most of the music Myrrh performs.
God's anointing on Myrrh's ministry moves people from tears to joy as they share how He has worked miracles in their lives and sustained them through life's continuing challenges. Their concert and powerful personal testimony leaves people in awe of God's power and filled with hope. Between their inspiring story, captivating harmonies and Bill's innovative violin artistry, Myrrh effectively bridges the musical gap between the generations.
