Ashley is a speaker, teacher, and writer. In a refreshing and fun
way, she digs deep into God's Word, often teaching expositionally
and answering tough questions through the truth of Scripture. With
freedom and comfort, Ashley captures the audience and creates a hunger
for God's Word. Her upbeat presentation and specialized training
make her messages attractive to women. After hearing Ashley speak,
women often say they understand the Bible as they never have before.
Ashley is an adjunct professor at the Criswell Bible College in Dallas
and a contributing writer for the forthcoming Women's Evangelical
Library Commentary by Broadman-Holman.
She is a founding member of The Embracing Womanhood Project, Inc.
and a plenary speaker. Her B.A in Speech Communication and Master's
of Divinity in Women's studies uniquely prepare her to address
the needs of women. Her ministry and speaking can be characterized
by clear, theological teaching delivered in laughter and love.
Ashley is the wife of Dr. Steven Smith, professor at Southwestern
Seminary and the mother of Jewell.
