Randy & Marli
Brown
Marriage Seminar
With todayÂs culture of temporary commitment and confusion over the definition of marriage, it is now more important than ever to focus on GodÂs plan for marriage. Just as God is the author of life, He is the author of marriage and whatever we want to know about the process of two becoming one is found by studying GodÂs
word. Now is the time to invest in the health of our relationships
and pursue a mature lifestyle of practical and sacrificial love one
to another.
Randy and Marli have a passion to teach biblical principals regarding
GodÂs marital design. Incorporating music throughout the two-day seminar, couples are encouraged to communicate lovingly and honestly while learning conflict resolution skills. Whether engaged, newly married or celebrating a golden anniversary, couples of all ages will gain new perspective into their God ordained relationship with the love of their life. Open discussions, icebreakers and humor make this weekend a memorable event. Couples are given specific Òhomework assignmentsÓ to
complete in order to engage in-depth communication.
Topics
include:
How to Effectively Communicate
Forgiveness
Guarding Love
A Love That Serves
Choosing Commitment
Persevering Love Through the Years
Venue:
Hotel or Church
We have found that presenting the seminar at a hotel provides a more
intimate and "special" time away for couples, however,
it is just as profitable to hold the seminar at the host church in
order to keep costs affordable for the couples.
Schedule:
Friday Night: 45-minute concert including love songs and "ice-breakers" followed
by the first session (Introduction).
Saturday: Four 75-minute sessions.
