 Lee & Peg Rankin
Looking for experienced
lay people to minister God's Word to your group? The Rankins will
happily fill the bill.
Happily married for many years, they have 3 grown sons and an ever increasing number
of grandchildren. They have been ministering together for almost as long as they
have been married and love every minute of sharing God's Word with others.
Now retired, Lee is a former Vice-President of Siemens Medical Systems, a large
international manufacturer of diagnostic imaging equipment. He weaves into his
varied presentations the challenges and the victories of living for Christ in
the dog-eat-dog business world.
Peg is the author of six books, including the best-selling Yet Will I Trust Him (Acknowledging the Sovereignty of God in Times of Need). In her newest release,
Making Sense of Evil, she gives an eyewitness account of the
collapse of the World Trade Center and goes to the Bible for answers. Lee collaborated
with her on this project, contributing a chapter about victory over temptation
in the world of sales.
The Rankins love working as a team but are also available for gender- specific
functions, such as men's and women's banquets, retreats, and conferences.
Some topics they address are listed below.
Selected Seminar Titles
1) Stronger Together (learning to love our partners as Christ loves
us, building a strong partnership, affair-proofing our marriages,
and celebrating sex in a way that pleases the Lord)
2) Help for Panicked Parents (rearing and launching our children in
a way that honors God, knowing we're responsible for how we bring
them up, not for how they turn out)
3) Yet Will I Trust Him (experiencing the peace that comes when we
rely on the Sovereign Lord to deal with the crises in our lives)
4) In His Hands (resting in the knowledge that we're in the protective
hands of a Sovereign, the caring hands of a Shepherd, the humble hands
of a Servant and the reassuring hands of a Savior)
5) How To Care for the Whole World and Still Take Care of Yourself (setting proper priorities by putting God first, staying close to
Him, and ministering to others from our overflow, not from our reserves)
6) Step Into the Water (relinquishing control to God's Spirit by dying
to self and living our lives in His resurrection power)
7) Treasures for Eternity (living with heaven in view, glimpsing God's
glory in the here and now, and knowing our tears will one day turn
to joy)
8) Lord: Teach Me to Pray (experiencing the wonder of entering God's
presence through the torn "veil" and learning to pray effectually
and fervently)
9) Ouch! It Still Hurts (banishing bitterness, extending forgiveness
(even if we don't feel like it), and experiencing personal victory
(even if our severed relationships are never restored)
10) Making Sense of Evil (finding comfort in the fact
that our Sovereign Lord is able to use acts that are evil for the
good of His people and the glory of His name)
11) My Anchor Holds (knowing that when feelings fluctuate, faith falters,
and friends fail, Christ is there - always)
12) Are We Counting the Days, Or Making Our Days Count? (glorifying
God in our daily routine, investing time in His Word, and finding
our niche in the Body of Christ)
All seminars are presented from a Biblical perspective, with application
to everyday life. They are designed for people who want to make God's
Word the binding force in their relationships.
